Meet Pastor
Eugene Duncan

Rev. Eugene Duncan is a native of Trenton, New Jersey, and a devoted servant of God with a deep commitment to preaching, teaching, and pastoral care. He answered the call to ministry under the leadership of the late Rev. Frederick C. Johnson at Christ Baptist Church, where he preached his initial sermon in 2003.

Pastor Duncan holds a strong academic foundation, having earned degrees in Applied Sciences, Business Management, Public Administration, and a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Gardner-Webb University. His theological training and life experience equip him to minister with wisdom, compassion, and clarity.

Throughout his ministry journey, Rev. Duncan has faithfully served as an associate minister and instructor at several churches, including Christ Baptist Church of Burlington, New Jersey; Park Church; Nicey Grove Missionary Baptist Church; and Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church. His ministry experience includes Christian education, discipleship, outreach, prison ministry, hospital chaplaincy, and community service.

 

On April 21, 2024, Rev. Duncan was called and installed as Pastor of New Meltonville Missionary Baptist Church in Peachland, North Carolina. As an under-shepherd, he provides spiritual leadership and guidance, serving the church with a heart for God and His people. Pastor Duncan is married to Rev. Lisa M. Duncan, First Lady of New Meltonville Missionary Baptist Church. Together, they are united in marriage and ministry, serving through preaching, teaching, worship, workshops, and seminars all for the glory of God.
